LottieFiles Community Guidelines

When you join LottieFiles, you are joining a community of amazingly awesome individuals from all over the world. Being a part of this community on LottieFiles means you are welcomed into its circle of trust and respect which are the foundational principles upon which this community exists.


If you come across any content that is inappropriate, please report it to be reviewed by our LottieFiles team. Our team will determine whether there has been a violation of our Community Guidelines and take appropriate decisive action.



Harmful or dangerous content


Do not post content that encourages others to do things that may harm themselves and/or others. This also includes content that contains dangerous misinformation that has not been fact-checked and could potentially lead to harm.


Hateful content


LottieFiles will not tolerate content that promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, caste, sexual orientation, or gender identity, or content that incites hatred on the basis of these core characteristics.


Harassment and Cyberbullying


Abusive comments on LottieFiles that are deemed to have crossed the line into malicious attacks can be reported and removed. However, there also may be cases where comments are sarcastic, annoying, petty, and probably should just be ignored.


Spam and Scams


Do not create misleading descriptions, titles, or tags in order to increase visibility. Do not post excessive amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages. Unrelated content that aims to sell to users and/or that is not in any way relevant can be reported and removed.


Plagiarism


Plagiarism refers to using some other person's ideas and information without acknowledging that specific person as the source. Unfortunately we tend to see this alot when it comes to creative mediums. Any animations that are uploaded by anyone other than the original creator, where the original creator has not been credited and the original animation not linked to in the description can be reported and removed. Our policy does allow the reuploading of edited animations as long as the original animator is credited and the original animation is linked to in the edited animation’s description.


Impersonation


Any accounts found to be impersonating other individuals, companies, collectives or other accounts on LottieFiles can be reported and removed.


Privacy


If someone has posted personal information of yours against your consent on LottieFiles you can request removal of this content by reporting it.
